Dear Parents and Guardians,
The staff and students of Kaktovik would like to thank the SkiKu crew for taking our boys and girls out skiing each day last week during the school day and at 3:30 for those that wanted. It was great exercise, the weather was nice each day except that Monday was a little windy, and our kids learned new ski skills.
Although it didn’t work out originally as we planned due to weather and travel, we’d like to thank Justin of Challenge Life for coming to Kaktovik yesterday and sponsoring a family Basketball Tournament Sunday evening. For those that participated, it was a great time.
Parents of students to be in grades 7-12 next year, please contact the Health Clinic and schedule a sports physical as the health care providers will be in Kaktovik this week. Physicals are good for one full year. All students participating in NYO have been asked to go get their physical today!
The Girl Scout Leaders are already planning for next year. Please help your daughter complete the 2017-2018 Girl Member Registration Form when she brings the form home. Dues are $20 per person. Our local council will cover membership fees for daughter number 3 or more in one family.
