ACCESS for ELLs®

Each spring, all identified Limited English Proficient (LEP) students must be assessed for English language proficiency in four domains: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. During the following summer and fall, both guardians and teachers will receive the assessment results.  In order for a student to achieve proficiency and exit the ELL program, he or she must earn an overall score of 5.0 with a score of no less than 4.0 in each of the domains.
